Hi Guys

I'm going travelling in September round NZ, OZ and South East Asia. I've been looking at swiss army knives and multitools to take with me. I would really like to take a Leatherman XE6 or CS4. I've had a look on ebay but most a still pretty expensive.

Does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell on at a reasonable price?

Cheers

Good luck finding one cheap. Most people will hold on to theirs. An alternative to the larger leathermans is the Leatherman Juice. I have this and take it traveling with me everywhere. It is smaller and lighter but has everything you need. I think new they cost around $40 and may be a good option for you.

The CS4 and XE6 Leathermans are in the Juice range. I'm not really interested in a large one. I just want it to be a good all rounder for carrying.

I know its a long shot but I thought I would give it a go

I've been looking on ebay. They all still seem quite expensive unless I go for a 2nd hand one. I'm bidding on a 2nd hand one at the moment so we shall see.

I like boreal2673 got a Juice - was summut like £80 on the leatherman site but only £40 on ebay sent from USA.

Something else for you to consider, i work with a lot of adventurers (Joe SImpson, Pete Goss, Sir Ranulph Fiennes etc) and on asking advice i was told to also check out Gerber, apparently just as good for the normal traveller and a fair bit cheaper....cant say personally as not used any of them before?!
