Hi everyone,
I'm from Vietnam. And I'm going to Rio de Janero this summer with my sister. But we don't know how to book flight tickets from Hanoi to Rio de Janero.
If you have any information, please send me a private message.
Thank you so much !!!!!

I guess that there's two options, which may be more or less the same in price.

Either you fly BA to London, and then on to Rio; else, I guess that Qantas or one of the others offers service via Australia. Third, you could consider buying a RTW-ticket, but I don't know whether that makes matters any cheaper.

Good luck,

On the Oneworld Alliance airlines, you have a few options that I can see which would most likely either require you to go to Bangkok or to go to Hong Kong.

Option one get a flight to Barcelona, Madrid or London and then another to Rio De Janeiro. Option two is get a flight to New York or Miami and then get a flight to Rio De Janeiro.

A far more complicated option would be get a flight to Sydney then get a flight-Santiago in Chile and then another to Rio De Janeiro. To do that it would probably cost the same amount as the cheapest option you could take on a round the world ticket.

You could get a Oneworld RTW ticket starting from Hong Kong for $3,184US (4 continent) $3,626US (5 continent) or $4,246US (6 continent). All prices need to have the applicable taxes added as well. I have no idea what the cost from Vietnam would be or if one is even available, but I know that the oneworld alliance airlines have a flight from Hanoi-Hong Kong. You'd need at least a 4 continent ticket if you are to get to South America from Asia. So the ticket is not cheap! It might be cheaper if you did a mileage based ticket, but I am not sure

If you book them individually, you are looking at about $1971US just for a return Sydney-Santiago flight (that's the cheap price), then a return Santiago-Rio De Janeiro flight is $205US at the cheapest price on LAN Chile, $597US for a Hong Kong-Sydney return flight at a cheap price on Virgin Atlantic and I have no idea on the Hong Kong-Hanoi flight, train or if a bus exists. So you'd be looking at $2773US+the getting to and from Hong Kong-Hanoi if you got on some really cheap flights, but most likely you'd pay more than that because of your dates.
