I have 1yr working visa for Canada and want to work in ski-fields in B.C. I'm going to fly in to Vancouver but would like to work in a small village. I'm not sure when I need to arrive in order to secure employment and accommodation - do jobs on the fields include accommodation? Do you know the best jobs for max time skiing? Can you recommend any good ski fields? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Head to Fernie, BC. Fernie has the best snow in Canada, and is much more affordable to live than in Whistler. I'm from Calgary and drive the 3 hours to get to Fernie to avoid mass groups of tourists and for the great small-town hilll feel. Also check out Sun Peaks in Kamloops.

Thanks for taking pity on me and responding! ;)
I’ve heard Fernie has great snow so will have to go and check it out, I’m arriving in Vancouver on the 20th Sept enough time to find accommodation and work on the slopes I hope. I also have to apply for a SIN which I’ve been told can take up to six weeks to get?
