When I read about human rights, in various countries, on the internet, there seem to be several organisations working towards finding information about human rights violations, in various countries.

Is there actually an official list of human rights, that all the organisations use, or do all these organisations decide individually, for themselves?

Yup - I was going to say the same. That's the human-rights basis I believe most NGOs work with.

Thanks for the info Pardus and Tway.

Amnesty are only one organisation, which are working on uncovering violations of human rights.
The United Nations are working on having human rights upheld, in various contries. At least I think this is how it all works.
