Probably asked before, but wasn't able to find it within one minute (i am very impatient, not lazy!).

But now you see how many posts someone has. Couldn't that be made out of two parts: on topic and off topic (including introduction).

It could, but I think it's pretty low priority.... It'd also run across tens of thousands of pages, which would add some db processing. Not sure if the benefits outweigh the time + processing cost?

One quick way I could do to let you see your non-OT post count is to delete the many continue threads that are in OT. That should take away much of the OT posts to reflect your non-OT post. Be prepared to have hundreds (or thousands for some members) of posts deducted from your current count.

So, what say you, guys?

How about this. 10 votes and I'll go ahead with the deletions.

Ooh, I'll vote for that! Strictly in the interest of science, of course!

But in the forum stats, you can see the top ON topic posters of the last 30 days. It shouldn't be that hard, would it...said the guy who doesn't have a clue about these things.

Not hard, just very low priority .... but who knows, you've planted a seed and next time we're looking at the member profile pages, it might just sneak it's way in there

AHEM......

If memory serves, and this time it does perfectly, there are TWO Moderators for Off Topic. This one votes NO on the issue of removing the continue threads. Guess that means Hien and I cancel each other out.

Just out of personal curiosity, why do those threads bug people? I know Phil's reason for a two of them, but I think Hien is about the only OT regular who hasn't played. Again, just curious...
