Dear Friends,

I finally in possession of my very own passport, duly approved though. fuhhhh! 2 months. Apparently, the delay was in part my negligence to check with the Commission about having to fill up an additional form ( if you applied before the new rulings, effective in february, you have to fill up this form at VFS centre) and another part the VFS for failing to inform me on the status ( all I know was, "Your Application has been sent to the Commission") and after haggling with a number of operators to get thru. Thanks to the commission and VFS though and not to forget you people, thanks for the informative inputs. Chat later.

hi,
i'm applying for the WHM and my question is to those who have been successful with their applications.Does it matter if one has no previous travelling experience and is presenting a virgin passport? Also is it advisable to state that I'll be staying for two years or less. These will be of help to those of us that are just applying.[quote=moezsd]hi,

Hi there.
I'm interested in applying for the WHM Visa - i've been told the average waiting time is between several working days to several months. Can anyone confirm this? I'd appreciate it a ton.

thanks
Lydia

Hi, you can visit www.vfs.com.my to look for the current processing time required. but normally, it would take about 2 to 5 weeks to process a WHM visa in KL. It would take longer if your documents are not concrete to prove. And if you would required to attend an interview, then the latest would be 18 months from your application date.

Cheers

Dear friends:

I am new here and appreciate this forum sharing experiences.

I have applied for UK WHM and have been schedule for interview with BHC, New Delhi in first week of July 2005.

I would request you friends to tell me about the interview process. What actually they assess in the interview and what are the things they clarify.

If possible plz list the questions and answers or topics discussed in interview.

Do I need to take the services of Consultant for interview preparation. What is the duration of interview ?

Help will be really appreciated.

Hey Merlin,

I know a buddy of mine who submitted her application towards the end of Jan and is still waiting. She is getting very frustrated too. She's been to UK many times b4 and has her sister there to assist her with all documents. Whn she called to confirm, the HighComm told her to wait as the process is taking longer than it used to. But 3 months....yeah right!!

Anyway, I hope you'll know soon. But be prepared to wait.

Hi anada

Thanks for teh information I think i better keep waiting

Merlin
