To all the M'sians on expired visitor visas in the UK

Based on what Gerry Khong has said,"tons of malaysians in england and most of them have expired visa visitor pass".
I salute all of you.
I don't know whether I could do it.

Dear All,

My apologies to all that i haven't reply esp rose yee, kuan fai, jtnay and natzi. Reason being my visa was approved on the 4th of March and i had 1 month to complete my task at work and also the remaining weeks to settle my personal things before i flew to the UK on the 30th of April.

I read about the indefinate suspension for applicants in 4 countries incl malaysia and my findings revealed that it was due to the overwhelming response plus the fact that UK was in the general election period and many british wants their govt to put a stop to illegal immigrants flocking into their country.

Now, u might all reckon that this has got nothing to do with your application as you r all genuine applicants with the intention of working and holidaying in the UK and Europe.Problem is, many of our countrymen has taken the liberty of extending their stay illegally after their 2 years visa expired as if the UK is their own country. Irregardless of whether they wanna tour this country for a longer period or they just wannna stay here longer so that they could be granted a PR, their selfish actions will only destroy the image of future working holiday makers applicats. The UK government is aware of such nasty tactics to overstay. What happens next? Their govt will then study the pattern and only to find out an increasing trend among the applicants from a few countries ( malaysia being 1 of the 4) hence the decision to suspend it. Its all cause and action.

I know that it must have been really disheartening for u guys, esp for those who have waited for circa 18 months to be interviewed but if u wanna put ur fingers at the right aching spot then i suggest u put it on ppl like Gerry Khong. Gerry, i have nothing whatsoever against you and i apologise to you in advance but i must add that what u r doing now is a very selfisf act. What if these people in this forum start to follow ur footsteps? Would you want the British govt to lift malaysia as a visa free country whenever malaysians visit the UK? What u r doing now could tarnish the malaysian image. If more ppl like u choose to come into the UK via a 6 month toursit visa and then to work illegally, future generations of malaysia will face the possibility of having to apply for a visa before they visit the UK. Don't misuse our rights because our given rights are borrowed from the future generations.

To the rest of the WHM applicats that got rejected=PLEASE do not resort to coming to this country with a 6 months tourist visa and then to work illegally. My advise is to try applying again in a another 6 months and see if it is still being suspended or otherwise. Don't do something which will make the thousands of malaysian residing in the UK legally to bear the embarassing fact that many our our countrymen is coming to the UK and work illegally like Gerry Khong.

This mail has got no intention to offend anyone. If it was offensive in any ways, my apologies for telling the truth.

Hi GerryKhong,

U get 150 pounds/week, with meal and accomodation provided? How about the tipping in restaurant? How much u manage to get average perweek? I heard that some ppl are getting around 300 pounds or above (salary + tips) as a waiter/waitress.

Besides that, working with visitor Visa meaning that u r not eligible for opening a bank account, rite? Then, u gonna keep all ur savings in a metal safe?? buried them underground like our moyang did during those ancient time??

I think u must have tons of excitements especially in this summer season, with lots of activities including Notting Hill Carnival...
really envy u..

Rgds,
Esther

Kempes is absoultely right. Its sad to see such a thing happening and people condoning and applauding it. You're giving malaysians everywhere a bad name.

150 pounds per week is quite low, yes, then again i dont know how to read or write mandarin, its a learning process. in this waiter and waitress business, it is quite fequent that people jump and jump from one place to the other for better pay, maybe after some time when i have learned all there is to learn, maybe they will increase my allowance. i average 135 pounds a week, since i dont smoke a lot or buy food or snack foods.

usually the illegals will as a friend or pal who has a working permit to send the money to Malaysia. thats how its usually done....
