So What's your background Tim? Are you just getting done with college, or what's the deal? Just woundering. Also, if you're really looing to go on a long trip without having to pay for gas, then don't, just hitchhike. There's going to be enough dangers along the way anyways, why not pickup another one by hitchhiking, ;-) just kidding. By the way, are you from the US? If I was you, I wouldn't go about trying to make this huge long list of things to see while you're on your trip. Actually, I wouldn't make one plan at all. I think the key is to be able to converse freely with the locals in the area you're passing through, and find out what to do through them. I remember once on a road trip of mine through Idaho, we pulled off the road at this nicknack shop I can't remember exactly where, anyway after talking with the man inside for a while, he told us about some really sweet caverns inside one of the mountains near by that we should go explore. Even though going to Yellow Stone Park was our original goal, the caverns were one of the most memorable things along our entire journey. Sorry about the spelling, I never was a wiz in that subject.
Hope you're travels go well for you,
Philadelphia here, I can show you the city of Brotherly love like most natives can't. Hit me up!
