Hello,

im just wondering if its just too short of a time to do :

Bogota - Amazon - Belem - Fortaleza (got a friend there) overland to Rio off to Iguazu Falls, Montevideo then Buenos Aires in 2 1/2 months.

i just can't seem to find a cheap flight from Montreal to Fortaleza.

anyone done a similar itinerary ? just don't want to be rushing from one town to another ...especially with such short time but i really want to see my friend in fortaleza ...

cheers, carol

Distance-wise it can certainly be done, but 2.5 months for that stretch won't allow for too much time to spend in between. Browse the forum to get some ideas how much time everything takes, may help you to further shape your plans.

you absolutely right .... its too far stretched ....i did checked the other posting that why i realized it didnt make any sense ..i just don't want to be ticking off destinations for the heck of it ...

so ive decided to just do Brazil ...

i can get a flight from Montreal - Rio de Janeiro back from Sao Paolo to Montreal .... at worst, i'll take a domestic flight to Fortaleza to see my friend and overland back down. Unless my friends who's a travel agent can find me an open jaw to Fortaleza & Rio de Janeiro

it makes more sense this way since i'm taking a intensive portuguese course this summer hence reason why i only have 2 1/2 months instead of 4 months ...

thanx for answering ........ cheerio, carol
