Quoting Pardus

In Africa I was close to try Ants (the ones with the fat bottoms) and fried termites (the flying queens). For the ants I didn't feel adventerous it that day and there weren't enough termites around. For us it's like something exotic and unusual to try but for the people there it's a welcome (and more importantly free) change in diet. And there are literally millions of termites flying around at certain days, it's like a snowstorm almost.
I think if you're living in a country that's prone to droughts you'd pretty much eat anything just to survive.
But saying that, I draw the line at endangered species (eg. Shark fins) and killing of animals just to get parts of them (eg. Frog legs) as delicatesses. And I don't eat Horse, but that's for spiritual reasons more than anything else.

Thanks alot , i can increase my knowlege via you.

Regards

Insects have a lot of proteine which is the same for meat like chicken. That is why people in developing countries eat it because its cheaper and its a good replacement for meat. I would eat anything, because if they can eat it why shouldn't I. Come on with the crickets, rats and dogs...I all eat it. In europe we even eat porc. What do you think about it, Elnaz?;)

really , it is very interesting for me ,how do they eat insecte?

Some of the insects I say, in Thailand, for sale in the market were very big. Beetles, about 2 inches by 3 inches. I think they probably bake them, and then peel off the shells and eat the inside.

If you are full of proteine, you must be married!
