RSS feeds as live bookmarks in FF?

Travel Forums System Talk RSS feeds as live bookmarks in FF?

I was wondering whether it is possible to integrate the RSS feeds from Travellerspoint as a "live bookmark" in FireFox... probably not already, but is it on the "to do"-list?

This is already possible. I assume you mean the forum feeds? If so, just visit the forum you want to subscribe to and Firefox should autodiscover the feed for you and display the icon to click on in the address bar.

I assume you know how to add it as a live bookmark then..

Incidentally, any valid RSS/Atom feed is by definition able to be added as a Live Bookmark (which is really just a basic feed reader). The only question is whether it has been set up to be auto-discoverable or not. I'm pretty sure all our feeds are auto-discoverable.

It may sound stupid, but I would not have a clue what you are talking about Should I be glad or sad about that

It doesn't, which is why I thought it impossible. Even stranger; other sites do allow for live bookmarks with my current FF version. I'll try and reinstall, and see what happens.

I use FF live bookmark and it works for me. I'm on 2.0.0.2, the mac version. Which forum feed are you trying to add?

I re-installed FF, and it's working fine now. It also solved the problem with the speed of my connection, by the way :)

Great; must be nice to be browsing faster after a period of slowness
