ASIMOV'S LAWS OF ROBOTICS
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law

Based on the Second Law, Sander, I hereby order you to change my title to Forum Janitor.

Sorry, I am a follower of the zeroth law, which dictates that I may not harm humanity, or through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

Obviously, if someone of my quite considerable talents would randomly follow your orders, Hien, that would do grave harm to humanity.

And Asimov (one of the few sci-fi writers, that is worth a read) then wrote 80 books on how things can go wrong, when these laws are followed.

Wait - is it that humans cannot abuse robots, or that we can't abuse the responsibility of having robots?
