Hi Alistair,

I've just sent you a PM to test something. Does the red ball show 2 now? If it's still showing 1, see if deleting my message solves the problem.

Have you tried to clear your browser cache/temporary internet files? The problem could be caused by the failure of your browser to download the page fully. Another possibility is that you have hundreds of messages (like I do ) and it takes a very long time to load the page.

If the above fails, try to access the test message I sent to you using this direct link.

http://www.travellerspoint.com/my_messagecenter.cfm?messageid=148553

If you can see my test message, look for a link to the previous or next message at the bottom of the message. Open that link in a new tab or window. You can then delete both messages.

You may also want to turn on email notification for new messages. This way, an email will be sent to you whenever you receive a message. In that email is also a direct URL to the message.

Try accessing your mailbox using another PC. If the same problem occurs, let us know.

By the way, what browser are you using when you access the site? Just to be sure we haven't missed something while testing (although I really can't think of any reason the messages wouldn't appear!) :)

Sam,

I'm using Internet Explorer. I get the message while im at work, but not all the time.. when i use my laptop at home, it works fine.. weird or what?

That is weird indeed - especially because it doesn't always happen at work....

Could you check something for me? When you have Internet Explorer open, you will see a Help link at the top right. Click on that and it will bring up a list with different topics, the last being 'About Internet Explorer'. Click on that and see what version you are using at both work and at home ?
