Dear Friends

An important thing happened to me today. It is the first physical milestone of its kind since becoming a woman (you know monthly stuff) some fifteen years ago...

...Today I have joined the slippery slope to old age. I think I have found my first grey hair. I am quite distressed, as I had hoped I had inherited the eternally dark hair of my maternal grandfather.

I have sellotaped it to a black background and am observing it closely. It could just be very pale blonde of course......Lets all pray its a one off.

:(

Please someone, say something to make me feel better about it!

Clara

Im going to ruin your weekend here - but l got my first grey hairs around 27 and since then they have come thick and fast! Luckily one of my best friends is a hairdresser and monthly she makes them disappear for me!

Still my sister is 5 years younger than me and has had grey hair since about 21!

Trust me it gets worse than finding a grey hair on your head............... I will say no more

Hello Clarabell

There are some fantastic hair colouring products available these days.
There are some ammonia free ones, with cover all grey hair, and actually improve the condition, of your hair. U can have a headful of silky blond(or whatever colour your hair is) hair, all your life, if u want. ;)

Please let us know if it starts to talk to you...

Gray hair is a sign of wisdom, Clara dear! One gray hair is nothing. Had you combed her hair a slightly different direction, you probably wouldn't have noticed it. They don't breed like rabbits unless you're Beerman. Not that Beerman breeds like a rabbit, just that his gray hairs do. Oh, I'd better stop before putting my foot deeper into my mouth.

Forget about the gray and throw away the one you taped to paper. It's not going to change color nor multiply and you are just going to angst over it for weeks. Go have dinner instead! ;)

Count your lucky stars. You could be getting greys and going bald at the same time!
