Well, what area are you talking about, it's about 300 or 400 kms long this border. Where would you cross it?

I can give you information about the eastern part, from figueres to Perpignan and some Pyrenees ones.

There's one border in Portbou, by the mediterranean sea. But there's not much to do at night in this zone, as its a very tiny road and no big towns are anywhere near. the clsoest big town is Figueres, and there's not a great nighlife there.

Another border is in Le Bolou, but it's a motorway really, the one from girona and Figueres to France, and the town by the road is very small. You have another one in Molló, which is in the middle of the Pyrenees and another one between Puigcerdà and Bourg Madame, also right in the middle of the mountains. these are the 4 borders I have went through a few times, but unfortunately none of them match your nightlife expectations.

I wish I could give you more information, but I know nothing about the ones in Basque country, near bilbao. But the majority of them will be right in the middle of the Pyrenees

By the way, the landscapes are amazing in these zones, if you are interested in sightseeing and that. Beautiful mediterranean and wild Pyrenees, amazing
