I don't know about Thailand, but it's perfect for Australia and New Zealand. Autumn, winter and spring, with the caveat that winter in New Zealand and the south of Australia is more like the autumn you know (excepting in the southern alps, which will be all gloriously covered with fresh snow), while it's the very best time of the year to be up north in Australia, as it won't be sweltering hot (and during the 'summer' it's the wet season up there). Autumn and spring are absolutely gorgeous seasons, of course, really bringing out the best in the natural beauty of a country like New Zealand.
The only "bad" thing about that time of year in New Zealand is that it'll rain slightly more often than during the summer, but there'll be just as many sunny days in between.

Yup, couldn't agree more, thats the perfect time for the top of oz, not too warm, not too cold, little rain. check out the weather they've got right now, for a lot of the summer it's all rain, cyclones, storms, humidity.

Most places have websites that give rain, wind, temperature. just google a city name and weather.
