What's all this got to do with travelling from Iran to India?? And I remember the Middle East question being raised in System talk - and it has been answered.
Thank you Pardus.
Wouterrr, Utrecht and Mel. Please read this as the friendliest of warnings. I, and probably quite a few others with me, are getting more than a little tired of the constant thread jacking in the travel forums and the 'pokes' at moderators. The moderators are here to keep the forums interesting and relevant for all users of Travellerspoint, not just three or four that find it fun to engage in trivial banter. In this case for example, I would easily assume you have totally ruined Shahabsito's impression of this site as a helpful travel community. I think you should strongly consider what impression you are leaving on new users of the site who are here to get travel related information.
On the side, Wouterrr and Utrecht. I am Dutch, and those Dutch comments were really uncalled for, not to mention incredibly childish. The forums are to be kept in English so everyone can understand and follow along.
Shahabsito, I apologize on behalf of the site. I have moved the thread to Asia and hopefully some of the travellers that frequent the forum will be able to offer some help!
First thing I agree upon, the second part..if you call that incredibly childish, maybe it's time to take life a little less serious Sam. Sorry for my comment, but I feel free to say this.
Threadjacking on the other hand is a thing which I and others should try to prevent. I really try my best, but sometimes I feel a little sarcastic, ironic...or childish. Thank god I am childish sometimes, rules are typically dutch.
Oh, several other things:
1. There is another way to make a fool out of me or wouter, by sending a PM and telling over there it was extremely childish. Some VIPs tend to forget PM does exist!
2. If english is the language, than please delete all photos (especially the featured one) and blogs which are not in that language.
3. if this post is deleted, I am fine, but send a PM!
Sorry, i really understand that it irritates people, and we are all doing our best, and certainly not joking the moderators for sure!

I'm pretty sure I've made myself clear on several dozen occassions before (both via pm and in the forums). When suggestions can't be taken, I guess it has to be said straight out. I can point to several threads where moderators were more or less made fun of, just for warning people not to go off topic....
Regarding the dutch, I don't mind a few dutch words here and there, but when you're talking about certain body parts in dutch, and only a handful of people can understand, then that imo is childish (the body part chat, not the dutch). If it was written in English it would also have been deleted. I don't think I have to explain that the forums are a place for asking questions and giving answers. The photos and blogs are there for members to share with others and there's absolutely no problem with these being in other languages (in fact we rather enourage it by allowing different alphabets to display properly).
Let's go back to the original topic;
Returnflights from Tehran to Mumbai go for around 300 to 400 US$. You may apply for the Indian visa at the embassy of India in Tehran or the consolate in Zahedan. Daily costs are independent on how you eat. Eating in streetstalls and the cheapest restaurants is extremely cheap (less then in Iran). Budget accomodation is in Bangalore around 6 to 12 US$ per day (Bangalore is one of themost expensive places in India). Don;t go to the M.G road area for food. You won't find cheap food there. Its mainly Pizza Hut and Mc donalds there.
Cheers and have a lot of fun. Though your questions were answered already a long time ago.
