My wife and I are going to Italy for the first time in June. I purchased Berlitz Italian in 30 Days. A DVD came with this book showing places of interest. A place in the southern part of the Emelio Romango Region called Dotsa was mentioned. I may not be spelling it rignt. The DVD referred to it as the capital of wine tasting. It showed a beautiful castle with a rounded tower above this town or village. There are supposed to be over 400 wines to choose from for tasting. This appears to be a very charming place. We are using AAA to arrange our trip. The problem is nobody seems, at least thus far, to have ever heard of this place. AAA has called several travel brokers on our behalf with no results. Can't find Dotsa on Italian maps or web sites. I have sent an inquiry to Berlitz but reply is still pending. Really intrigued with this little mystery place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google tells me you mean Dozza, in the Emilia Romagna, 25 km to the east of Bologna.

Sander, you are the man! The spelling is probably what goofed everybody up. Now that I know where Dozza is, maybe we can take a train or bus there. Might even rent a Harley for the day. Interesting, don't you think, that people in the business of travel were stumped by this? Dotsa was pretty close. Maybe there are not many people that go there, though you would think people interested in wine might find this place to their liking. Thanks again so so much. We are on our way to the wine in Dozza!
