Thanks for the suggestions but I am already hitting up Prague a month earlier and have been to Berlin to many times to count. Paris may be a possiblity.

Thanks

Liechtenstein, you can see in one day, but you might be able to combine it with a trip to Lake Konstanz (Bodensee).

Other places, you can see by train: Salzburg, Innsbruck, Vienna/Bratislava (Austria), Rothenberg ob der Tauber (Germany), if you like hiking, spend a couple of days in the Hohe Tauern region, or Imst in Austria. I guess Cesky Krumlov, should also be within your grasp.

If you would consider flying than know that Germany has a couple of low-budget airlines, and a lot of foreign budget airlines flying from/to Munich, that also fly from Munich.
check out:
Germanwings,
Condor,
Air-Berlin,
TUIfly,
Air Dolimiti, (Italy)
BMI, (UK)
LTU,
Norwegian, (Norway)
Meridiana, (Italy)
Aegean Air, (Greece)
Easyjet,
Air Baltic. (Riga/Vilnius)

I guess you would be able to find some interesting places to visit. If you book far enough ahead, you can get there cheap.
