getting to phu coc island vietnam?

hi all,
what is the easiest/cheapest way of getting to phu choc island from saigon. how long does the journey take? and is it worth all the hassle if you can only spend a few days there?

i'm really hoping your spelling is correct and it's not phu quoc island you're talking about...it's not worth the 200usd to fly out there. they'd hand out these flyers showing pictures of great resorts and stuff like that. i got there, and to my amazement, there was nothing except for damp bungalows on a beach that wasn't very nice looking to begin with. nightlife, next to nothing. i have no problems with dogs, but if you do, becareful, they're everywhere!!!! good luck.

I'd agree, you should be weary.

I was told about an amazing beach up the coast from Nha Trang off the beaten track, when we got there it was nothing special, pretty crap infact. In my month there I made an effort speak to the vast majority of travelors about their experiences and not one mentioned this place you're looking into. Dont bother, theres heaps of other places in nam to go.
