im sure this has been asked befroe but im just looking for some definate clarrafication on whats the best way to set up my fone?
im travelling for sveral months all throughout europe and i would like to have my fone if i need it, mainly to call other places in europe just to book things etc, not for calling back to australia
ive spoken to my fone company and their rates seem a bit dear, so im not quite sure what my other options are,
any healp would be great thanks
U could leave your phone, at home. There are call centeres, in most cities, in Europe, where u can make phone calls, for a fee.
matt, Mel is right - you could make calls from call centres in pretty much any country and they're generally not too expensive any more.
Another alternative is to buy a local sim card when you get to the country which gets you much cheaper calls, though this might only really be an option if you were spending any length of time in those countries.
you can also pick up calling cards from most milkbars/newsagents as you travel around. You simply use them from any landline phone (including public phones)... there definately the cheapest option.
ahh ok thanks guys!, i dont really wanna take my phone to much hassle, just been cheacing out my options i think uve convinced me not to
