Hi
I'm just wanting any opinions on these places/resorts. I am lining up a job with OWH in Canada and these are the only recruiters/mountains I have the chance to interview with. I am bitterly disappointed as I had my heart set on Whistler or Banff for a bit more action. Actually I want to attend a local church and dont want to have to commute into a bigger town every weekend.
Please help me find peace of mind before i decide to give this program the flick and go jobless to Canada.
THANX
Beth

Hey Bethy,
When reading your subject line straight away I was thinking Lake Louise since of the three the mountain is the best, and it is quite close to Banff. However, you mentioned a church is important for you, so if this is a decicive factor then Silver Star quickly emerges as Best of Class. Vernon, BC has the most churches per capita then any other place in North America. It is almost eerie that there be a church or some place of worship on every corner. So you have selection. Silver Star is the mtn of Vernon and its easy to get up there, all the way up the mtn road people are hitching to get to work or get the first snow of the day. Vernon is a town bordering small city, nothing of any particular interest, but Silver star is a quality resort, alot of work on the back side of the mtn over past 5 years opened alot of terrain. Really good place for families.

Thanks MM
I guess I didn't really realise how close Silver Star is to Vernon though I am more keen on the Big White resort, I'll just have to get over it. I'm gonna have a blast where ever I go!
Thanks for your help
