Hi guys

Hope you can help me out, as I have recieved quite a bit of dirrerent information reagarding this issue.

What im wondering is when you apply for the Irish Working Holiday Visa does the visa start from the date of issue or from the date of actual entry into Ireland?

I've been told both answers from various visa companies in London and haven't recieved a response from the Irish Visa Department.

If anyone have any info that would be fantastic.

Cheers
Jase

Hi Jason,

When I got my Irish visa, a few years ago, I could nominate the date that I wanted my Irish visa to start and as such it started on that date. My UK visa however started on date of issue, I couldn't nominate this date. This is probably why you are getting mixed answers from London as the system is different for UK & Irish visas.

Hope this helps?

cheers NatDoog!

That's actually quite wierd about you UK visa, as I had three months from the date of Issue to enter the UK and then the 2 years would start.

Anyhoo! I tried ringing the Irish Visa Office today, but too not avail :( seems no one picks up the phone there!!!

Just have to keep on trying I guess
