I guess it really depends what you are looking for and what sort of things you enjoy....

If you love mountains, lakes and scenery, I'd suggest maybe Banff Canada. In April the weather is nice and the wilderness is just amazing! The Banff Springs Hotel and the Rimrock Resort are both luxuary hotels and offer honeymoon packages (the views are fantastic).

I would suggest Fiji!!! I got married on Castaway Island Fiji and I wouldn't change it for the world. It will be culturally different to what you are used to and the weather will be good that time of year. Yes Castaway Island is not particularly cheap but you only get to honeymoon once right?? If your soon to be wife wants to just chill out, relax, and get treated like a princess after a hectic wedding then she will love this.

I was gonna suggest Thailand, too!! During April they have the Songkran Festival...I thought it a pretty neat time to be there.

Otherwise, I vote for India!!!!

But if not India, perhaps Slovenia (beautiful!! and the caves..amazing!) or perhaps something like the UK? - I hear the Lake District there is quite a sight.

Or take a globe and spin it and hope your finger doesn't land in the middle of an Ocean!

Lotsa luck!! (And congratulations!!)

Greece in April is nice. Italy, Spain and Portugal might fit your criteria as well unless you're looking for something more exotic, perhaps India?
