i am from canada and me and my girlfriend will be flying to asia for a month in Feb 08. i have a rough idea for out itinerary. can some of you seasoned veteran travellers tell me if this is doable??

fly to beijing spend a few days see great wall of china
fly to bangkok, spend a few days in bangkok
fly up to chiang mai or chiang rai and do a hill tribe treks
fly down to ko samui enjoy the islands
fly to phi phi
possibly fit in Ankor Wat if it is possible.
back to bangkok & then home

not gonna be travelling for quite some time so i have lots of time to decide on where to visit to make the most out of our 1 month in asia.

Hi, not sure about the rest of your itineray, but I don't remember an airport on Ko Phi Phi, you can fly in to Phuket and get a boat easilly enough though, or you can get a boat from Krabbie. Aisia air or tiger airways websites might give you an idea of possible flight times and costs.

I think your itinerary is possible. You're not going to get to see much of China in a few days, but if you're intent on seeing just some of Beijing and a bit of the wall it should be OK. There are regular cheap flights to Siem Reap (near Angkor) from Bangkok so you should be able to squeeze that in too.
