When people ask me, which is the worst musician, in the world, I can never decide, whether to say Clif Richard, or Chris the Burgh.
So, would everybody kindly help me out.
Vote, for which u find the most nauseating.

The worst musician is probably a musician you have never heard of, as (s)he had so little talent, that (s)he never had a hit record. With the big exceptions of Eilert Pilarm -> that's so bad, that it is fun.

That said, in my opinion every musician, that is making music that doesn't come from the heart is a bad musician, and therefor there is no use in discussing who is the worst. (although Abba, would be good bet)

Herr Bert

Do u know a band, called Equilibrium? They are a German heavy metal band.
I met the drummer, from that band a couple of nights. The band were starting to do whatever they do, with record companies the last time I met him. But I never hear anything about this band, in the newspapers. How long does it take, for bands to become known to the public, aftey they start to get record deals?;)

Is this the band you're talking about?

No I don't know them, and to be honest, I haven't been listening to metal for a lot of years. I used to listen to some of them when I was in the mood. Nowadays only Maiden, Dream Theater, Killing Joke (Images and words/Awake) and Savatage have a small chance, to end up in my cd-player) (would you say Einstürzende Neubauten are metal?, because I like them)

To answer your question:

It depends on the band, if they have a enough songs to record an album, and the recordcompanies is happy with these songs, than it is normal to record a debutalbum pretty soon. I see they released an own album last year, so they need to come up with new material, that can take a while

After recording it depends a little bit on other releases, when the album is put out. (A record company doesn't like to put out 3 albums in the same week of bands that sound alike, they rather spread their chances). And it also depends on the plans of the management agency. As they are a metalband, I presume they would put together a tour to promote the new album. As the clubs are usualy closing in summer (in favour of the festivalseason, so everything happens outside). My guess is that everything will be focussed on a release in September/October, this way management can start bookings for the clubs, when they re-open for the new season.

But also remember, that of every 10 bands with a record deal, only 1 or 2 will become somewhat famous. For a metalband, nucleas blast is a good label, they know what they are doing in that genre.

Thanks Herr Bert

I dont know Einstürzende Neubauten.
I will ask my boyfriend. He might know them.
I like Savatage, a lot. I dont know why they are not more famous, than they are. Thery are as good as ACDC, in my opinion.

Herr Bert

This is what my boyfriend says, about Einstürzende Neubauten

80ies band. "Industrial". I suppose the link with Metal is there through the gothic scene, but I personally wouldn't consider them metal.

Celine Dion may have a great voice, but I just can't stand her music. Plus anything with a whiny, repetitive beat like Justin Timberlake or those R&B bands that are anything but.

Basically anything except the Beatles.
