Hi. Does anyone know how much is the train from the airport to city center in Rome? Does the ticket price include changing to the subway to go to Piazza de Spagna?
What about a cab? Does anyone know how much it would be?
Thank you.

Have a look here; since train and subway are different companies, you'll have to buy different tickets.

By the way, Rome's public transport authority has one of the finest websites ever: www.atac.roma.it. In the left pane, there is an option called calcola il percorso, where you can find a route planner for bus, tram and subway. It's in English.

Hi we used a company called terravision coaches they have a desk in the airport you can just buy a ticket when you get there think it was about 12 euros return and they took you to termini station
Much cheaper by train - and it's direct. I can't remember the cost - something reasonable, I believe. Far less than a cab, as it's a fair ride.
from fiumicino airport there are 2 options:
take the regional train (R) (direction fara sabina), which costs about 5 eur but doesn't stop at roma termini station (there are other stations where this train stops and you can get off and take the underground, f.e. ostiense or rome tiburtina)
take leonardo express train, which is faster and more expensive(9 or 10 eur?), but arrives at Termini station.
from termini station you can take the underground line A (the red one) direction battistini to reach piazza di spagna. tickets are different from the train, and cost 1 eur (only 1 way)
avoid to use taxies, they're incredible expensive (10 eur for a few kms..just to have an idea)

Hi, Aline.
From Fiumicino Airport, you should take a train going to "Trastevere Station" or to "Termini Station" (depending on where your hotel is). I think the ticket costs 5 EUR, but I'm not sure.
If you are on a loe budget, forget a cab! Fiumicino-Roma costs around 30 EUR or more.
Regarding Piazza di Spagna, I don't think the subway changing is included in the train ticket (it's a different company). Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about that: the subway ticket costs only 1 EUR, regardless of the distance you cover.

P.s.: if you need help with accomodation (one of the most hard parts of a trip in Rome!), you're welcome! Tourists pay exorbitant amounts of money, when sometimes some local's tip can allow you to find great accomodation for less than 50 EUR per night!
Hi there!
I'm arriving at Fiumicino at 23:30 on October 31st. Does anyone know some way to get to Termini other than Leonardo Express, as I think that the last train leaves Fiumicino at 23:35, so I would have to be tremendously lucky to get that one. Is there any way, obviously not as expensive as taxi?
Thanks!
Italy is the home of culture, some of soccer's finest teams and the Roman Catholic church. Quite simply, this is a place of such diversity that the only thing that will stop you spending the rest of your days here is an empty wallet.
