With Easy jet its not cheap. Who else flys there? Can I go cheaply from Italy or Istabul?

Thanks

Nope. You can go cheaply to Greece from Germany though. Air Berlin from Leipzig to Thessaloniki, or Hapag-Lloyd/LTU from Munich to Thessaloniki from £40 return. You'd need to get a return flight to Germany too, about an extra £30 including tax I reckon.

Just a quick remark. Hapag lloyd, doesn't excist anymore, it has merged with TUIfly. With LTU, you might want to be careful, as they have just been taken over by Air Berlin, so I think it won't be long, before they start canceling the flights. they are both doing. (Düsseldorf - Athens is one of those routes). I don't say don't book, but I just warn you not to be surprised if a flight is replaced to a Air Berlin flight, that doesn't connect with a flight you have to take from the UK.

As far as budget companies are concerned I don't believe someone else flies the UK to Athens.

You can also fly to Cologne, and take a Germanwings flight to Athens.

Other options: FlyGlobespan from Glasgow, or maybe get the cheapest ticket on the Eurostar (45 euros), and take a flight at Brussels Airport (Brussels Airlines)

I jsut checked an Easyjet flight from Luton London for the 05/06/07 and I got it for £67 1 way, not bad I dont think. If you go later then it will be more expensive...
