Hi,
Can anyone give me any advice on the benefits and drawbacks of going on greyhound and Oz experience. I'm going be travelling along the east coast and not too sure which one I should plump for. Cheers, Lee

I would highly recommend going through Grey Hound. It cost he $315 Australian for a open ticket, get on get off from Sydney to Cairns for 6 months. Grey Hound has buses operating all the time, just recently to get from Byron Bay to Brisbane there was about 8 different buses running at different times that day, and every day.
With Oz Experience I've heard from others that they wish they went through Grey Hound because when they get off at a city, and then they decide to leave they call up Oz Experience to see when the next bus is available they were stuck in that city for another 4 days because there was no room available. But with grey hound, you can literally call them up in a hour and get the next bus.
Hope this helps.

You might want to flick back through the oz/nz forum post - there's been lots of discussion about the pros and cons of both greyhound and oz experience....
