Vishav- I partly agree with what you are trying to say in your post-

Malaria is a serious disease in India, as is dengue. Appropriate precautions are necessary including mosquito repellents, and long sleeves and pants.

Chloroquine however is NOT recommended in South Asia as malaria prophylaxis- There is a high resistance rate so alternatives are far better- Malarone, doxycycline, Lariam (mefloquine) or occasionally primaquine. All have potential pros and cons and should be discussed with a physician before travel.

Hello Vbandhu

U regularly give information on various topics concerning India.
Would u make your information more detailed, if u can?
And, yes Canadaguy is right. Chloroquine is no longer effective, on many strains of Malaria, in India.
