We were flooded out in the central region last october and were still getting heavy showers at the start of Nov'. By mid Nov the rains had more or less stopped and it was bloody hot again.

Hello Dan:)

I was in Thailand, last November.
The temperatures, during the day were around 35C.
At night, was also hot.
Altogether, we spend around 5 days, in Bangkok. It rained, for 20 minutes altogether, in those five days.

On Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, where we spent around 25 days, in November, it rained more often, and the temperatures were cooler. Around 30C daytime. I needed a light cover, to sleep under at night, because it got a little cool, but nowhere near cold. It rained, at least a little, every second day. Sometimes it would rain, for several hours. But dont worry about this amount of rain. There were still plenty of warm sunny hours.

dan_so it can chuck it down with rain in August and Sept'.

Just checked with the missus about the weather in those months and reminded her we had our house blessing last August and the weather ws perfect, she reminded me that we were lucky with the dates and that it poured with rain for three months after that and it resulted in us having our very own indoor swimming pool!!!!!!!

August and September are during the rainy season, Dan, so there is more rain then, than in November, when I was there. Most of the rain falls in September. U may have difficulty, getting onto the islands, in those months. If the sea is too rough, the boats dont go. :)

check out my photos and you'll see just how much rain can fall in October, September had a fair bit of rain but nothing compared to October.
