I have one month to go from HoiAn to Bkk, so quite a lot of time, but still not to much.
Im on budget and dont want to fly, so probably by land and rivers...
Ive heard the south is great, and around there is not to touristy, the way i like it... Mui Ne, Bac Lieu...
I'll be gratefull for advises on where to go along river delta in Vietnam and later on in Cambodia. Does anybody know how much are these homestays? (and Ive been to Angkor before!)
Ive been thinking on going on "open bus ticket" from HoiAn to Saigon and later...
I haven't decided yet. THNKS in advance!
Have a look at www.travelfish.org .
Lots of info on the region here including buses trains etc ,etc
Cheers and enjoy
We are flying with Air Asia from Hanoi to Bangkok for only $60 each. Saves a lot of time and money rather than doing it overland.
Yes, I do know about AirAsia, but they dont' fly from Saigon, and since Im coming from the north i dont fancy going back up to Hanoi to just take a flight...
Does anyone know about cheap flights from Saigon to BKK?
Vietnam Airlines fly for 150$ which is a lot for a budget traveller like me...
But thanks a lot for the advise, ill consider it!
