i just cant figure waht i wanna do, uerail flexi pass aounds good but i t dosent go to alot of the countires i would like to visit, would it be beeter to just go point to poitn the whole way or get a pass and then buy the extra tickets when i need to go off the beaten track?

also does anyine have any bus websites that are good ofr route info?

I think it is best to have a pass for the long hauls, for short trips (daytrips), p2p-tickets will do fine.

To find most of the traincompanies, you can use this website: You can select a country, and it will give you a list of the possibilities.

I started out without a pass as I found buses in eastern europe cheaper and direct. the thing is in western europe (especially germany, france, spain and italy) the prices sky rocket. Its about 200 euro barca to rome for example.

I bought the 4 country pass for Italy, france, spain and greece (includes ferry) and found that saved me heaps.
