no15616541 has indicated that this thread is about Italy

I'm a 24/m/belgium with no real backpacking experience.
My plan is:
-to see as much of the nature as possible and see some towns.
-taking multiday trips, sleeping in a hostel, camping ground or even ask a farmer permission to set our tent on his land.
-staying a day or two in florence (my family lives there)
-to keep everything on a budget
-making as much new friends as possible

Has anyone had some experience in a trip like this? Where should I base myself? Where are the nicest nature routes for hiking?

I speak dutch, english, french and a little italian.

I don't think you will have problems with languages ... tuo know a lot anyway in the countries a little bit of italian could be useful.

For sure you have to see places like Siena, Volterra, San Geminiano, Acquavignone, Parco dell'uccellina, Monteriggioni, e l'argentario. Florence you can spend some days because you'll cross it for going in every place in tuscany!

Somewhere you can camp and in other places you need to stay in houses o hostels you'll see place by place. Becareful with agriturismo because a lot are not a farm but are a villas very expensive!
