If you look hard enough, there are many programs around that will provide you with room and board as well as a job. Although you may have to pay a program fee there are plenty out there that are definitely worth it. However, there are more volunteer programs than ever so if you're into that it's another option

looking for a hairbrained idea?

My little brother has currently got a kiddy's paddling pool and several ethanol stills set up in the back shed along with a whole bunch of home-brew beer vats... he just keeps throwing parties at his house and selling his home made booze to the revellers!

Not sure that selling alcohol without a licence is 100% legal, but heh... at least he's making money by partying!!

hey koala girl...good idea...my friend does something similar where he buys a keg for football tailgating parties OR parties @ his house....and charges $5 a cup...makes massive profit! oh, the ideas are flowing now :)

keep 'em coming guys...

What about paid surveys? I've never done it, but I've heard of online sites that pay you to take their surveys.... has anyone tried this? Is it just a scam?

Also tutoring people is EASY money if you have knowledge in a particular area or speak another language. If not, there's always tutoring in basic english or maths, (although Bennnn should probably steer clear of the maths tutoring!! ;)).

I think this is the easiest way to make money, it's cash in hand and people will pay you quite a high hourly rate...

You could sell sachets of your nasal hair on ebay. They fetch more money if you claim them to be from a popular celebrity (David Beckham is particularly popular). You're less likely to be sued if the celebrity is deceased.

I LOVE to travel......I had to join a program to affford this love of mine.....It pays $6000 in 10-12 weeks and also gives me great discounts on travel packages.
Didn't believe in pay it forward programs until I saw the beauty of this one.
Now I can travel in style
