Hi,

We'll be going from Milan (where we have friends) to Provence on vacation and staying at campgrounds. We'll have about 2 weeks.

We probably plan to visit some national parks while we're there for some hiking (nothing too extreme, just some daywalks in the mountains).

I was wondering if any of you knew which gateway towns we should plan to find campgrounds at where there would be a choice of them near those National Parks and that would be near the trails.

Also, we probably don't want to visit all three, more like one or two - which one or ones to skip?

Best regards,
Juu.

Hi
here is a good gateway for mercantour : "Saint martin de vesubie"
you have to know that you can't enter in the mercantour parc without a guide...
cheers
Philippe

Are you sure?

I didn't see that stated for example here:
