Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend any nice hotels in Hong Kong for a young single female traveller? I'm only in Hong Kong for a night and would like something fairly central and cheap so I can go on a sightseeing bonanza, although a dash of luxury wouldn't go astray!

Cheers

Sal (Naish)

You can search for hotels located in Mong Kok, it's relatively cheap compared to other areas such as Tsim Sha Tsui. It's convenient to get to the places of attraction by underground.

Mong Kok is the most congested & highly populated area in Hong Kong. If you're staying there, you'll get to interact with the locals easily & you'll have easy access to scrumptious local food as well. It is also a fantastic place for shopping.

I'd recommend the Anne Black YWCA in Mong Kok. It was relatively inexpensive and just a few blocks from the highlights of Mong Kok. Check tripadvisor.com for reviews.

If you want to upgrade I liked either Stanford Hotel or Stanford Hillview or BP International.

Finally, you might get a better price if you book on sinohotel.com

Have fun!
