I think this is certainly true.
However, I hold out hope that is will become possible, to produce the advantages of war, without having a war.
There are things commonly believed and accepted in todays society, that would never have been though possible 500 years ago, so I think it could be possible, to have a progressive world, without war. ;)

Agreed.
There are better ways to stop a war.
Specially using polotical tactics.

One slight problem.
Pacifism never stopped a bullet.

I thought that was something you heard in churches in the southern US...?
