jokekima: please be aware that although the accommodation might or might not be good, the tactics used to promote it are definitely not good. The person who recommended it to you has been spamming these forums with links to it. The claim of "parents visiting" and staying there is obviously false when you see the effort this person is putting into promoting the link.
Although the decision is yours, of course, personally I would stay very very far away from any and all products advertised by such spammers.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the maquinista apartment in barcelona. It was 85 euro a night, beside the beach and had a really sunny roof terrace. A couple of minutes walk into the Born and Gotico, in a really nice area. NIce "tigre" tapas in barceloneta. You will have a great time in Barcelona! Go to caller escudellers for a good club crawl!

I did happen to notice the user name was similar to the website name. I quickly figured out it was just a story made up to advertise. I should have looked over the forum rules again before I set myself up for that. Thank you for making me aware. I appreciate it.

Hello,

You could try the Feria de San-Fermin in Pamplona. Bulls getting released in the street and tens of thousands of people partying in a nice a friendly atmosphere.
Great experience! Don't forget puting on white clothes and a red scarf to respect the tradition.

All the details on www.sanfermin.com.

My husband and I are from Toronto and are visiting Spain in July for our 1 year Anniversary for 1 week only. We would really appreciate any advice on where we should stay and visit? We want to shop for souvenirs and do excursions. We also love night life so maybe if any bars or clubs could be recommended.

So far I have seen flight’s available from Toronto to Madrid and almost booked to stay in Madrid but wanted to hear any input about Madrid or anywhere else before we booked.

Can anyone also let me know what the weather is like in July?

Thanks for any info you can help me with!!!

I apologize for the spelling error in my post but I don’t know how to fix it.

I am from Spain,Barcelona ,and i can tell you that allways Spain is a right choice to visit .In summer in Madrid is quite hot , but this is what you espect to have ,don´t you ? .The city has very beautifull and now renovate museums , Pardo , reina Sofia, fundación Thyssen, etc.
Excursions to Toledo ( Close city whit plenty of ancient churches ,art, old sinagogas ,nice landscapes and very interesting to see), Aranjuez , Segovia, la granja ,etc, etc.
And for the night , it is also very good because people of Madrid love la fiesta and tomar copas ( having drinks ),they are very talkative ,and ther is plenty of places where to go . Just ask when you arrive which disco , club etc can sut you. Every month there is a new one in fashion.
Enjoy your stay. Best regards Ester
