When in Iran, I will spend all my time, in Esfahan.
Although I will fly into Tehran, I dont want to spend any time there.
I have not fully decided, whether to fly to Esfahan, or to take the bus.
If I fly, I feel I might miss out, on seeing the countryside, and seeing how ordinary people in Iran get around. And I would get a brief glimpse, of Tehran, if I take the bus, which could be interesting.
On the other hand, if I fly, it will be less confusing, for somebody, on a first trip to Iran.

Please, tell me what u think. What are the pros and cons, of each travel method, as u see it?

Mel:)

Dear Mel
Hope my reply is not too late for you.
If I were you I take the bus service in order to see the natives & rural people.
Of course taking the bus is not as easy as having a flight, but for sure you are going to see the real people, real life.
If you get a copy of Lonely planet Guide to Iran or get a local Iranian map from here , then I am very sure you would enjoy.
Good Luck
