I am an MBA in marketing. Basically I am an internet marketing expert and have 5 years of experience. I have an offer from an employer in Sydney. I want to know, what could be a right salary and the salary trend there. Also, I want to know more about visa procedure. I think I will fall into (Temporary Business Visa 457.)
Is it easy to have a visa to Australia? There are some companies who charge around 700 usd and more to consult you or refund guaranteed. Is it worth? I would like to apply directly if this is easy to apply myself and pay online with my credit card..
Please advice. I have to Join from 1st August. What is the normal living cost. I am married and have one kid as well. I do not have any relative or much known in Australia.

Basically, as far as I know, the employer has to go through quite a stack of paperwork to get a visa for you to work in Australia. If you have a job offer from an employer I would have them take care of the visa part too.
Not quite sure about the salary.... doesn't the job come with a salary indication?
Hi Nitendec, you shouldn't have to pay for an assessment but if you use a Migration Agent then you will have to pay a fee for this service. I work in a recruitment centre for Working Holiday makers in Sydney and we do assessments for people interested in sponsorship. If you would like to forward your resume to me at [email protected], we can have our migration agent assess this free of charge. She sends you her assessment along with full details of procedure and rates. Charges apply if you decide to use the service and you will then enter an agreement.
Generally speaking, if you are eligible for sponsorship and have a job offer in your area of expertise, it can be very straight forward. I came here as a backpacker from Ireland 4 years ago and am now on my second sponsorship. The last one only took 2 weeks to organise.
