im thinking of going to visit my friend in sydney in june - whats the surfing like round there? will it be warm enough to surf in june?

June is the middle of Winter and the water temperature is around 15 degrees celcius so you will definitely need a wetsuit.

Winter swell can be good, but it can also be rubbish. There are plenty of places to surf if you are staying ijn the city or east (Bondi, Tamarama, Cooge, Bronte). Try Manly for a decent wave - just at the end of the Corso so only a 10 min walk from the ferry.

i'll be staying with friends in Vaucluse, not far from bondi, felt like coming all the way over and not surfing would be wrong!
