Hi guys,

When I booked my round the world ticket the travel agent mention 2 types of bus pass type thing. One being they greyhound, and the other being the 'Oz Experience' touring passes. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences to share with either of these methods of getting about?

I'm flying into Cairns and out of Melbourne with 3 months to play with.

Help much appreciated!!

Hi Jodie.
plenty to do around cairns mate, but hire a car if you can, you can reach the reef and daintree and back easy in the day, and plenty to see too.

Hey Jodie

We travelled oz for a few months and found that the best way was by campervan.
If there is 2 or 3 of you, this is definatley the cheapest and most comfortable option.
The east coast of oz is really nice.
Campervans are really easy and lets you explore off the beaten tourist track, small towns like Jervis Bay on the NSW south coast.

Have a great trip
south coast of nsw was really beautiful, dont miss it.

[ Edit: Sorry, no promos please... ]

As I'm going to get there on my own I'm not going to be able to share a camper or anything until I meet some like minded people. Also, I know this is a terrible admission, but I really don't have that much faith in my own driving skills!
