I would like to pay my respects to the fallen.

Whether they agreed with their jobs or not, they gave their lives in service to their countries.

Please let's not turn this into a political thread about the motivations of politicians and generals. This is simply for remembering that people who are no longer here.

My respects to the Aussies also as they were doing what their country asked of them.

Let's not forget the Kiwis as well...;)
Lots of people go to Gallipoli today, I think it's great. Other countries should take this as a good example of paying respect to people who gave their lives for others!

At no time in school when we talked about the "great" wars did I hear about this, it's interesting. Thanks for sharing.

cheers kris.
its good that people take time out to remember what has gone, who has gone, and the reason why it had to be.from all parts of the world. so much was given by so many people, and the people who they left behind, my heart goes out to them.
