Just wondering if anyone reading this has ever flown Olympic airlines? Cause i'm looking for cheap flights to Athens from London, and they seem to be the cheapest I can find at the moment, so considering buying a ticket for July.
I've never really heard of them before, so was wondering if anyone has any pros and/or cons about the airline they want to share?
Also, it seems they dont have etickets, so have to post out the tickets in the mail (!?) seems a bit old fashioned to me......
Anyway, thanks in advance if you can help!
Did you check with Easyjet, I think they fly to Athens from Gatwick and Luton?
Another option would be to take flight to Germany, and take flight to Greece from there (Air Berlin, GermanWings, Aegean Airlines). I know it will take more time, and you would have to find flights that connect, but it might save you some money.
And no never flown with them, so I don't know how, they sell their tickets.
try to check on site www.volagratis.it , you should subscribe (but it s free) and you can find most of cheapest flight. I just gave a look for a flight out from London to Athens and back on th 9th of july and they offered many cheap flight, like with Swiss, Males.... try it..
hello i am from greece and i'm flying with Olympic nearly 10 times a year. They are very safe but they seem to have a problem with delays (about 1hour) which i don't mind.
If you found the cheapest ticket in OA then i suggest u take it.
I do not know the plane type. In my flights (in-country) OA uses boeing 737-400.
Also if in any need about info for Athens, do not hesitate
I flew them a few years back from DXB-ATH-FCO and return. No delays, basic stuff but what from LHR-ATH it cannot be more than 4 hours, take a good book eat before you fly and you will be fine! Oh it was business class too and the only difference from Y class was that no one sat in the middle seat!
