ok so here is something about myself.....I am a college student in USA. I am from India, so i have Indian passport. But also have American Green Card. I Dont want to become US citizen yet and keep my Indian citizenship. I finish my college this year in December.

So here is my plan. I was thinking..after I finish college in USA, this year, I would like to go to UK and work for about 6 months. (from Jan-July).

Now heres few of my questions..

What are my chances to getting Working holidaymakers in UK?
Is it hard to get?
When should I apply for it? How long does it take to find out if you have been approved?
Once If i am approved for Working holidaymakers, how to find jobs in UK? Do i find job once i get to Uk? Or i should start looking now?
And what kinda jobs i can do? I heard if you work in Hotels, you get free food and place to stay. Is that true?

I dont think i wanna go to London since its crowed and very expensive. I would not mind working in smaller towns. what towns/cities would you recommended??

Thanks guys

I am sorry for asking so many questions

thanks again

hello,

i doubt there may be differences in application being filed, like the document procedures between Malaysia (or Singapore) and in the Us.

Once If i am approved for Working holidaymakers, how to find jobs in UK? Do i find job once i get to Uk? Or i should start looking now?
And what kinda jobs i can do? I heard if you work in Hotels, you get free food and place to stay. Is that true?

in Malaysia, it's up to individual if they want to find a job before or after reaching Uk. from what i've read, some hotels do provide place to stay and food.
