London is absolutely gorgeous, no character what planet you're from. Pubs that are 500 years old.....not in many other places.
But overrated Athens, people are so rude. Islands totally different story loved them all that have visited and will return....

dubrovnic in croatia everbody was telling me it was on of the most beautyfull city in the world, totally untrue
ok het is a fortress but all you see once you are inside is a lot of restaurants and giftshops
everything is really expencieve and the people in the city itself the are not that very nice, always out to make an other buck

but for the rest the places around it are really nice to go to, sad that now everywhere there they are building and building new big ugly appartments
but yaeh this is my look on the city

Personally, I don't have much enthusiasm for Stockholm. It's SO expensive, and in the Northern European countries, I much prefer Helsinki, which is manageable and interesting.

If you travel to Scandinavia you just have to expect high prices :) Besides, the price difference between the cities is hardly worth mentioning.

I find Stockholm very beautiful; it's clean and the old buildings are well maintained instead of torn down and replaced with grey concrete blocks like in many other cities. Stockholm has a nice athmosphere, beautiful people and plenty of interesting things to see.

just hated the place. During the day you get to see some fine architecture and if your into beer a trip to the aul Staropramen Brewery is well worth the visit.......but as the night dawns it turns into the sleeziest and dirtiest city I've ever been in

....just my 2 cents ;)

I loved Rome and I didn't like glasgow but loved Edinburgh (how can you not love a city with a castle as city centre)

and as a dutch person i can understand that amsterdam can be overrated, it's a bit sometimes like disneyland for grown ups.. untill you know the cool places outside the touristic parts and you start discovering the real city

i think the same goes for berlin, i liked it but expected more of it but i think i missed a good guide there who could show me around the real life of berlin..

i think it all depends on your preference, do you like more modern of more old cities, do you speak the language or not cause with that it depends how friendly people are.. are you there with rain or sun all these things..
