Hey,

I am heading off to Bangkok soon and was wondering if electrical goods - in particular digital cameras - are really that much cheaper than in the UK.
Any advice is helpful, I have a week left to hit the shops here!
Cheers
Tina

You can equal or better those prices by shopping around at home though Tina. If you have a specific model in mind, know its price and go looking for it. Otherwise, be very careful or you could get sold something you don't need which the salesman needs to get rid of.
Always check you get the right manual, plug and cables, as these may not be included.

not at all! the prices are very similar to those of uk!

Clothes, fake designer (well, copy designer stuff), shoes etc are cheaper but not electronic goods!
