Yep, definitely.

I didn't, personally, but of the travellers i shared a house with while in London, that puts me in the minority. out of 7 of us, 4 have recently been married to 'the One' they met while travelling. So don't lose hope!

Yep, i fall into this category.

I met a girl while living in Melbourne just days before i was leaving for Western Oz. I knew right away. Coincidentally, she was visiting family in WA at the same time so i met with her again, and with her parents and grandparents after a fortnight! Normally thats a bleedin' nightmare, but like i said, i already knew. Two weeks after i'd first kissed her we were moving to Sydney together, got a little shoebox apartment and lived in eachothers pockets working and saving. The place was tiny but we just got along and got to know eachother more and more. We lived in that shoebox for 6 months right by Little Manly Cove in Manly, NSW. It was a great time. Then when my visa was running out, she moved to Dublin with me. We're still living together and still nuts about eachother after a year back in Ireland. She is still far too good for me.

We're off travelling again in September, my girlfriend has never done a rtw trip before, she just took a temp job in an office in Melbourne and met a fella who likes to travel, so shes covering a lot of ground.

On a side note, the month before you go, and the days you spend travelling are by far the most likely time to meet someone, think about it. You have lots of free-time, you are mingling with carefree people who often have the same outlook as you, you become fitter and have a great attitude to living life.....who the hell wouldn't jump you?! Your also semi-naked most of the time as well as p*ssed off your head. Its a winner. Go travelling, get laid.

Don't get caught up in anything before you go though, thats the biiiiig danger. You'll regret it or blow it. Guaranteed.

I met the first guy i ever loved on my gap year in London. We were living in one of these dodgy sharing houses in west London. He was from Oz and I was a french girl who couldn´t speak a word of english. I was running down the stairs, late for work and I saw him, watching me coming out of the kitchen. We haven´t say a word everything was in the look we gave to eachother. Two days later it was st patricks day and i was at home alone. He came from the pub to picked up a jumper and finished to stay with me all night long. May be the best night i never had. We spoke and listened to music all night. The next day both of us got kicked out from the house, some people did not appreciate of us been together. We moved in together and opened our own sharing house. Three months later we got engage. I wanted to wait until i get graduated before to get married. I went back to france to go to Uni and after a year of been apart I went back to London for holiday but he had a new girlfriend and did not tell me before I was in London.

Do i need to say to dont beleive in long distance relationship.

I am sure you can find love everywhere you step in, even in a simple visit to a museum in a foreign land.

I met a guy while travelling who was also travelling. He lives in Oz and I in UK. We kinda got together...not to be too open but what should have been a one night stand ended up with us being a couple. It was only for two weeks but I have strong feelings for this guy. We recently said our goodbyes as he went back to Oz while I carried on travelling...I think deep down it isn't going to work out (even though I want it too!) But are there any travellers who met while travelling and it has worked???

I don't know about that situation . because I never fell in love during travelling.
But , what I know is that " Its not important where and when do you meet your match guy or girl ... Its important to meet him/her in real and know her.
If you be able to live together in a place then everything else are same as other loves.
Just sometimes , the difference between two different cultures may bring some problems up .

Good luck.

Mr Kombizz , Are you sure that we can find our love every where even in a simple visit to a museum ?
but i think it is not a love , it will forget very soon .

And I have a question of all of you , must we fall in a love certainly?
why we speak about love every where?
I think that we can live without love to humans.
What do you think?
