Don't forget that lots of people who are poor, just don't know how to handle with money; they gamble, drink, have 23 children, are too lazy to work, use drugs etc. etc.
Don't think rich people should compensate for that, more something for the government, and even that's not what I would like to see.
I'd say that it's more a lack of positive role models, opportunities and education than anything else. Plus, some people have truly bad luck in their lives.
I don't think any well adjusted, optimistic person with a fair bit to live for would gamble or take drugs to the point that they become poor. These activities are mostly a sign of underyling hopelessness.
Uhm, well, yeah that is exactly what I mean actually, but you are much better writing it down. Maybe I should add that they are just stupid as well, because even without role models, you can just watch around in life and meet people. I just believe every single man or woman can change their own life. But if you are not willing to do that, I don't feel sorry for them.
